Eds John

Eds John began his career over 20 years ago as a live FOH engineer and very quickly moved into the studio environment as a recording and mix engineer. His client list over the years is many and varied, including McFly, Orbital, Zoot Woman, The Mummers, Kathryn Williams, Richard Norris, “A”, Dave Clarke, Erasure, Kate Nash, Roni Size, Finley Quaye, David Holmes, Richard Jacques, Matt Willis, Ronan Keating, Natcha Atlas and many many more.

Eds is comfortable using many DAW platforms including Pro Tools and Logic Pro but is a firm believer in using a mixture the best of the analogue world as well as digital. As well as a long career as a engineer Eds composes for many library music companies including Extreme, Lift Music and Poke. Eds continues to record and mix in both the studio and live environments which he still firmly believes keeps his ears fresh and in touch with what’s going on be that pop, rock, folk or banging dance music. Now as a partner in The Park Studios all his skills can be implemented in an atmosphere of his own design.

Jim Carmichael

Jim Carmichael’s varied music career began in 1987 with a work experience placement at CTS Studios in Wembley. Already a busy drummer on the Kent Youth Music scene, Jim returned from Berklee College of Music in 1989 and signed his first recording contract with Talkin’ Loud (Phonogram). During this period Jim met Eds John, and they soon shared a mutual passion for recording and mixing, which has cemented their long standing friendship.

Before building The Park Studios, Eds & Jim had run a studio and production team in Brighton for over 10 years. A seasoned drummer and creative force in the studio, Jim has contributed as a performer, writer, engineer and producer on many albums and recordings. Also an accomplished FOH engineer, Jim is a regular on the touring circuit with the likes of Lianne La Havas, Ella Eyre, Good Charlotte and Birdy.

Jamie Cruisey

Jamie Cruisey

Jamie Cruisey has spent the past 20 years working on the business side of the music industry, most notably running his own artist management company for the past 15 years. During this time Jamie helped shape the careers of Emiliana Torrini, Grizzly Bear, múm, Radio Slave and The Half Sisters amongst others.

Following his recent distinction star level studies in composition and production Jamie in now hotly pursuing to further his career with a number of his own musical productions in the pipeline as well as album co-write and productions with the super talented Gaff E and other hot new talent to be announced.
